Diet Time For Marie
Okay Im going on a diet. Im doing the Smart One diet. Going to try and stay around 1500 cals a day. I hate this but its time. This diet worked for me about two years ago so Im going to try it again. Ill keep you posted on how its going. I started the diet today. I had oat meal in the morning and two smart ones for lunch and dinner. The night is going to be the tuff one. And remembering at night that Im on a diet is hard too. Lol! No memory anymore. Oh and lots of water. I keep a case of bottled water in my car and one in my fridge. Let me know what has worked for you.

Years ago I lost 60 lbs in 9 months by counting calories and exercising. I learned to eat lean protein and foods that use more calories to digest than they give you. I ate a lot of cantalope and tomatos that year. Typically, half a cantalope for breakfast, the other half for lunch with a scoop of low fat cottage cheese and maybe a Rye Krisp. Then for dinner I had a chicken breast and salad or veggies, or a Lean Cuisine. I was very strict with myself. I went to the gym every day except Sunday and worked hard. I was 30 years old.

I remember that, Mom! You looked beautiful!
I also lost 50lbs about 8 years ago. I find the hardest part is the exercise, and no snacks at night. I am "gearing up" to start my plan again, because I'm fatter than ever!
