What One Do I Pick?

So my Birchwood Apartment phone died the other day so I went to Cost Co to get a new one. I love that $100.00 store. Anyways I just needed a phone with an answering machine and maybe caller ID. My choices were the following;
  1. Phone with no answering machine.
  2. Phone with two hand sets and answering machine.
  3. Phone with three hand sets and answering machine.
  4. Phone with four hand sets and answering machine.
  5. Phone with FIVE hands sets, a camera, and an answering machine.

Lol! Okay? I picked #2. I figure if one of the hand sets goes out, I can use the other. Don't get me wrong. I love choices but I just wished they had more choices with less hand sets. Oh well. The other good thing about this phone is if I loose one, I have a back up.

To bad Cost Co. doesn't sell shoes like they do phones. He he.

It Takes A Tribe

Did you ever hear that saying, " It takes a tribe to raise a child." Ever since I had Mikala I have believed that more and more. I feel we can learn something good from everybody. Sometimes I can try to explain something to Mikala and she doesn't seem to get it. Then somebody else will come along and explain it to her in a different way and she totally gets it. I love it when that happens. Or when we run out of ideas and then somebody comes along and has some really cool new ideas. I love that too.

Cold Water

Grandson goes and visits his Grandpa in the country. Grandpa makes him breakfast. Grandson notices old food on the plate and tells grandpa. "Grandpa, there is some old dry food on my plate." Grandpa says, "oh that darn cold water. Sorry about that." At lunch grandpa makes lunch for grandson. Grandson notices old dry food on the plate and on the silverware too. Grandson tells grandpa. "Grandpa, there is old dry food on my dishes and silverware." Grandpa says, " oh sorry about that. That darn cold water." At dinner the grandson notices food on the plate, silverware & glass. Grandson tells the grandpa. "Grandpa, there is old dry food on my plate, silverware & my cup. " Grandpa says sorry and blames it on the cold water again. Grandson says goodbye to grandpa and heads back home. Grandson remembers he had forgot something at grandpas and goes back. When grandson pulls into the drive way, grandpas dog wont let him out of the car. Grandson yells to grandpa to call the dog so he can get out of the car. Grandpa yells, " Cold water, get over here." Lol
